Conway Select Board approves revised transfer station rules and authorizes electricity aggregation rate increase. The board also informally authorized aggregation representative Bob Armstrong to sign a one-cent-per-kilowatt-hour rate increase for the town's community electricity aggregation, driven by unexpectedly high ISO New England capacity charges during an unusually cold winter — amounting to roughly $6 more per month for a household using 600 kilowatt hours.

Armstrong noted that residents enrolled in the optional 25 percent renewable tier "will be about a half a penny more" than Eversource rates until August. Separately, Town Clerk Lori Converse presented a budget request including a stipend increase to $54 per hour, up from $49, and reported that trash tonnage at the transfer station has dropped approximately 25 percent since the bag sticker program launched.
